Privacy Policy

Scrawnix ("Scrawnix," "we," "us") is an AI coaching service at scrawnix.com that helps people gain weight and build muscle. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It is written in plain English on purpose.

What we collect

• Account information: your email address and a password (stored only in securely hashed form by our authentication provider).
• Profile information you choose to share: age, sex, height, weight, goal weight, activity level, training experience, gym access, food budget, allergies and dietary restrictions, injuries or limitations, sleep, supplements, and any medical conditions you choose to mention. Some of this is fitness- and health-related information — you decide what to share, and the coach works with whatever you give it.
• Your conversations with the coach: the messages you send and the coach's replies, plus a running summary the coach keeps so it can remember your history.
• Weight logs: the daily weigh-ins you record.
• Usage counts: how many messages you send per day and how much text the coach processes for you, used only to run the service fairly and control costs.
• Technical basics: like most websites, our hosting providers automatically log IP addresses and browser information for security and operations.

How we use it

We use your information for one purpose: providing and improving your coaching experience — personalizing the coach's advice, calculating your nutrition targets, tracking your progress, keeping the service secure, and operating it within our capacity. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their marketing.

Who processes your data for us

• Supabase — hosts our database and handles account authentication.
• Vercel — hosts the website and keeps standard server logs.
• Anthropic— processes your chat messages and profile to generate the coach's replies. Under Anthropic's API terms, data sent through the API is not used to train their AI models by default.

These providers process data only to run Scrawnix, under their own security and privacy commitments.

Cookies and tracking

We use only the cookies needed to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site trackers, and we do not track you across other websites. Because we do not track across sites, our site does not respond differently to browser "Do Not Track" signals — there is no tracking to turn off.

Reviewing and updating your data

You can see and change most of what we hold about you directly in the app — your Profile tab holds your stats and preferences, and Settingsholds your coaching options. For anything else (like a copy of your conversation history), email us and we'll provide it.

Deleting your data

You can delete your account at any time in Settings → Delete account. This permanently removes your profile, conversations, summaries, weight logs, and usage records. You can also email us (below) and we will handle it for you.

Your California rights

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we have about you, to request a copy of it, and to request that we delete it. We honor these requests for everyone, regardless of where you live: use the in-app deletion tool or email us and we will respond within 45 days. We will never treat you differently for exercising your privacy rights.

Age requirement

Scrawnix is for people 16 and older. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.

A note on health

Your coach is a coach, not a doctor. Profile details you share are used to personalize coaching, not to provide medical care, and Scrawnix is not a medical service or a covered health-care provider.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and let you know in the app before the changes take effect.
